Master of Divinity (M. Div.) Through Distance Education

Admission is normally done once in a year in October.  Applications should reach L.C.T. with required certificates and references by the end of August.

Admission requirements
L.C.T. offers two types of entry:

1.    Standard Entry: Completion of 10+2 and any secular bachelor’s degree; or mature candidate (+30 years of age with language skills)

2.    Upgrade Entry: Completion of 10+2 and B.Th. or equivalent.

Course Procedure
    Students will be provided with self-guided study materials along with prescribed text books and a compendium for each course. The study materials include a syllabus for each unit, and under each unit there will be a list of suggested books and a list of assignments/activities. Students need to attend a four-day seminar conducted on L.C.T. campus twice a year (October & May). From second semester onwards, prior to the seminar, students will have to spend additional two days on L.C.T. campus for writing the exams.

Course Requirements
•    In Standard Entrythe learner needs to complete 90 Credits including thesis (thesis is optional).
•    In Upgrade Entry the learner needs to complete 66 Credits including thesis (Thesis is optional).
•    In addition to the required subjects, the learner may opt to study the basics of biblical Hebrew and Greek, if he/she wishes to.

Course Duration
    Logos M.Div. Distance Education is a semester based program with a minimum four years of duration for Standard Entry and a minimum three years of duration for Upgrade Entry.
